Scrapping AND a Great Cause!

I love to scrap. Seriously, it’s probably my favourite thing to do with my free time. I also really like good causes. So it’s no surprise that I love being on a Creative Team for a designer that is as passionate about charitable causes as me! Ryan of Roseytoes Designs has been working on some great charity kits lately, as a collaboration with other designers.

Today I want to talk about a great kit that has been done for an amazing cause.

For $5.00, you can get the awesome collaboration kit, Hug-a-Hero, and for $8.50, you can get the bundle which includes alphas, a 10-page quick page set, and two templates.

The image above should link to the bundle kit! In case it doesn’t, there is a link to the kit at the bottom of the post.

Now, to tell you a little bit more about the charity. Operation Hug a Hero provides a stuffed companion with their deployed parents’ photo on them, so they have that close memory and reminder of their parents’ love for them, no matter how far away they are. It’s a reminder that their parents aren’t forgetting them, and a helper for them to remember their parents and how much they care.

You can find out more about the charity at the website here: http://www.operationhugahero.org/

100% of kit proceeds from the charity kit go to support this cause!

I created a layout using a bit of Ryan’s portion to the kit… you get SO much with this kit, and it is very versatile. Here is a layout I scrapped of my friend’s niece!
